Before becoming one of Thailand's best-known travel creators, Hlun Solo lived a very different life.

Born in Kalasin, he was raised by his grandmother after losing his father at a young age. After finishing school, he moved to Bangkok and worked 10-hour factory shifts for just 300 baht a day, while saving every possible baht and applying for scholarships.

His determination paid off when he earned a full scholarship to Chulalongkorn University, where he studied political science. During his university years, he took on multiple part-time jobs, including tutoring, handing out flyers, selling products online, and working on campus. By graduation, he had saved more than 300,000 baht.

Rather than spending it on a car or a house, Hlun invested it in a dream. At the age of 24, he began traveling the world alone on a budget of less than 1,000 baht a day, documenting authentic local life instead of luxury tourism.

Over the years, he visited more than 50 countries, including some of the world's most challenging destinations, inspiring millions through his honesty, resilience, and adventurous spirit. His journey earned him around 2.5 million Facebook followers and more than 900,000 YouTube subscribers.

Tragically, while filming a new adventure in Georgia, Hlun Solo went missing after 13 July. Georgian authorities later confirmed that he was found dead in Tbilisi, bringing an end to an extraordinary journey that inspired countless people to believe that even the humblest beginnings can lead to remarkable dreams.
