The oceans have many healing powers for human wellbeing.🐚💙💦
Oceans can positively impact our physical and mental health☝️
💙 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆:
Being near the ocean can have a calming effect on the mind and body. The sound of waves, the smell of saltwater, and the sight of blue water can all work together to reduce stress and anxiety levels.
💙 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵:
Breathing in ocean air can be beneficial for those with respiratory issues such as asthma or allergies. The salty air can help to open up airways and improve breathing.
💙 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆:
Activities such as swimming, surfing, diving, snorkeling and kayaking can provide a fun and engaging way to exercise. The ocean provides a natural environment that can make physical activity feel less like a chore.
💙 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵:
Spending time near the ocean can help to boost mood and improve mental health. The negative ions produced by crashing waves can help to increase serotonin levels in the brain, which can lead to feelings of happiness and wellbeing.
💙 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵:
The minerals found in seawater, such as magnesium and potassium, can help to nourish the skin and promote healing. Saltwater can also help to soothe skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
I can say I’m experiencing these all and loving to live near the ocean.💙🐚
