Day 23 of our trip into the North of Thailand on a BMW R1250 GSA.

The motorbike adventure from Galyani Vadhana to Chiang Mai featured stunning mountain roads, strawberry farms, and scenic views. After passing through Mon Jam’s crowded tourist spots, the journey continued on peaceful routes toward Chiang Mai. The day ended with a relaxing stay at Baan Suan Residence, offering a perfect mix of adventure and luxury.

We started our motorbike journey from Chanson National Park, enjoying scenic routes like 5080, 1230, and 1229. Traffic near Mae Kampong was busy, but quieter roads offered serene, beautiful views. Route 1095 was crowded, but Route 1265 provided a peaceful, scenic escape. After 300 km, we relaxed at a cozy homestay.

Great ride from Chiang Mai to Lampang, Thailand.
Lampang is part of the North of Thailand and a little bit like a hidden gem.

We arrived in the Chaeson National Park, booked a room there and enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful nature.

North of Thailand by motorbike. Back to Nan, Thailand. The ride was so so as a lot of traffic. And really hot. We stayed in Santi Suk.
