In this blog story, as a Muslims friendly story teller, Sienny Yong aka Siennylovesdrawing 👩🏻👩🏻‍💻✍🏻 is gonna sharing about her recent weekend visit to the successful organization of the National Mosque Open Day (NMOD) 2026 at the Tuminah Hamidi Mosque 🕌 & Bagan Datuk Square in Perak, Malaysia 🇲🇾 Organised by the Islamic Tourism Centre (ITC), an agency under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture (MOTAC) Kementerian Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya Malaysia , NMOD 2026 was held from 13 Aug to 15 Aug 2026 at the Tuminah Hamidi Mosque 🕌 & Bagan Datuk Square, with various activities that combine elements of spirituality, community, culture, recreation & family activities

NMOD 2026, which is being organized for the 1️⃣st time at the national level, was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi 👨🏽‍💼, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia & Minister at the Ministry of Rural & Regional Development, at the Dato’ Lope Hashim Hall, Bagan Datuk, Perak 🇲🇾 recently

SiennyLovesDrawing has witnessed the official launch of this meaningful initiative by ITC 👩🏻✅ as an invited media member. Personally to her, with the involvement of local entrepreneurs ✅ in NMOD 2026 has demonstrated how these muslims friendly tourism initiatives can directly introduce, bring awareness & open up business opportunities for the local community 💯👍🏻

Also she had enjoyed her visit & shopping 👩🏻💖🛒 🛍️ throughout this carnival, she noticed there were good reception of the Muslims Chinese influences in the local communities for food & beverages. There were stalls selling Chinese herbal tea bottles & Muslims Chinese Halal food eg. Beef pastries 🫓 & dumplings 🥟 crowded with visitors. She has sample tasted & got amazed with how great 👍🏻 the tastes were, bravo 👏🏻💯

It was with open spaces for Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to achieve the economic benefits of tourism through opportunities to market products, increase ⬆️ sales & introduce local muslims friendly products ☪️✅ & services to visitors 🧑‍🤝‍🧑👭👬👫

It was took place on 🗓️ 9 July 2026 & held at the 📍HGH Convention Centre, Sentul 🇲🇾 That evening brought together comedy 😁😆, music 🎵🎶🎼 & philanthropy to raise awareness & support for life-saving cancer research 🧐🔬That event featured a stellar line-up of performers who generously lent their talents in support of CRMY’s mission to improve ⬆️cancer outcomes for Asian populations 🌏👬👭🏻👫

All proceeds benefit life-saving cancer research aimed at preventing, detecting & treating cancers in Asian communities 🌏👬👭🏻👫
