คำอธิษฐานจิตถวายสังฆทาน 40,000 กว่าวัด:
Resolution for the Grand Neccessities Offering to Over 40,000 Temples:
ด้วยบุญกุศล,
By the power of merit
ที่ข้าพเจ้าตั้งใจทำบุญใหญ่พิเศษ, ที่เพิ่งเคยเกิดขึ้นครั้งแรกในยุคนี้, คือ มหาสังฆทาน 40,000 กว่าวัด,
that I have resolved, a merit unprecedented in this era, of the grand neccessities offering to more than 40,000 temples.
ขอบุญนั้น, จงดลบันดาลให้, ข้าพเจ้าพึงได้ความพิเศษสุด,
may this merit, bear exceptional result
ในรูปสมบัติ, ทรัพย์สมบัติ, คุณสมบัติ, บริวารสมบัติ, ทิพยสมบัติ,
in physical wealth, material wealth, spiritual wealth, retinue wealth, and celestial wealth,
เพื่อใช้ในการสร้างบุญสร้างบารมีให้ยิ่ง ๆ ขึ้นไป, ทุกภพทุกชาติ,
, to support the pursuit of perfections through every lifetime.
ขอให้ข้าพเจ้า, เป็นผู้มีแต่ความสุขความเจริญ,
May I be blessed with happiness and success,
ประสบความสำเร็จในชีวิต, ในธุรกิจหน้าที่การงาน, และสิ่งที่พึงปรารถนา
success in life, profession, and aspirations,
ปราศจากทุกข์โศกโรคภัย,
May I be free from afflictions and adversities,
มีอายุขัยยืนยาว,
enjoying longevity,
บังเกิดในตระกูลสัมมาทิฏฐิ, ในดินแดนที่พระพุทธศาสนาเจริญรุ่งเรือง,
and rebirth into families of right view where Buddhism flourishes.
ครอบครัวอยู่เย็นเป็นสุข,
May my family experience harmony and tranquility,
แวดล้อมไปด้วยกัลยาณมิตร,
surrounded by kalyanamitra
คนภัยคนพาลอย่ามากล้ำกราย,
and protected from malevolent influences.
ขอให้เป็นผู้มีปัญญาเป็นเลิศ, ฉลาดทั้งทางโลกและทางธรรม,
May I be endowed with supreme wisdom,
ฉลาดทั้งทางโลกและทางธรรม,
demonstrating aptitude in both worldly and spiritual matters.
ขอให้ข้าพเจ้า, เป็นผู้ไม่ประมาทในชีวิต, คิดสอนตัวเองได้,
May I possess non-recklessness in life, able to teach oneself
ขอให้เป็นผู้มีการปฏิบัติธรรมได้โดยสะดวกบรรลุธรรมเร็ว, สิ่งใดที่เกื้อกูลต่อการบรรลุมรรคผลนิพพาน, และไปถึงที่สุดแห่งธรรม,
May I attain enlightenment quickly and conveniently, and attain favorable conditions to reach enlightenment and the Utmost Dhamma
ขอให้สิ่งนั้นบังเกิดแก่ข้าพเจ้า, ได้โดยง่ายโดยเร็วพลัน,
May I achieve all these factors easily and speedily
ขออุทิศส่วนกุศลผลบุญนี้, แด่บรรพบุรุษบุพการี, และหมู่ญาติผู้ล่วงลับไปแล้ว,
I dedicate these meritorious deeds to my ancestors, benefactors, and departed relatives
ขอให้ความปรารถนาทั้งปวงของข้าพเจ้า,
May all these resolutions be fulfilled completely and absolutely.
จงเป็นผลสำเร็จ, จงเป็นผลสำเร็จ, จงเป็นผลสำเร็จ, ทุกประการเทอญ, นิพพานะปัจจะโย โหตุ
Until the attainment of Nibanna, Until the attainment of Nibanna, Until the attainment of Nibanna, Nibbana Paccaya Hotu."
