LIVE ON THE SCENE VERSE OF THE DAY: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2025

Dear God, thank You for this day, and thank You for opening my eyes to see another week. I give You praise and say thanks because no matter what happens each day, You are good all the time, and all the time You are good. I pray that You see me through the situation I’m facing. You’ve always been a God who hears my prayers, and right now in this moment, I come to You asking for Your strength to keep going. Your word in 1 John 5:14 says, “And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” And God, this is what I’m believing You for. Thank You for hearing my prayers when I feel like I’m running out of strength. Thank You for Your blood that covers me and gives me freedom. Nothing can stop Your plan for my life. I put this week into Your sovereign hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear God,
When I feel weak or overwhelmed, help me to find my strength in You. Remind me that I don’t have to rely on my own power because You are my refuge and source of strength every moment of the day.

As Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Fill my heart with courage and peace as I lean on You. Strengthen me from the inside out so I can walk forward with confidence, knowing You are with me.

Dear God,
When I deal with fear, help me to say, “God, I trust You.” When anxiety rises and tries to steal my peace, let those same words be my anchor—“God, I trust You.” When I don’t know what to do next or where to turn, remind me to lift my eyes and say, “God, I trust You.”

You are faithful, steady, and near. Help me to lean on You, not my feelings. Let trust be my response in every situation, knowing that You are working, guiding, and holding me through it all.

Dear God,
Help me to walk in obedience to You today. Let Your Word guide how I think, how I speak, and how I act, especially in difficult circumstances. Remind me that obedience is better than sacrifice, and that following You brings life and peace. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)

May Your truth shape my heart so that my actions, thoughts, and words reflect You. Help me to respond with grace and love toward others, even when it’s hard. Let everything I do point people to the hope and goodness found in Jesus.

Dear God,
Help me to focus on storing up treasure in Heaven, not just here on Earth. It’s easy to get caught up in temporary things, but I want to live for what truly lasts. Guide my heart to seek Your will, Your ways, and Your purpose for my life.

As Matthew 6:20 says, “But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.” Help me to pursue Your kingdom first, to invest in love, truth, and service that honors You. Let my priorities reflect eternity, and may my life bring glory to You in all that I do.
