🔴 #بيان #عاجل : حياة الصحفي ياسين قايدي في خطر!
تدين مؤسسة رشمة الإعلامية بشدة اعتداء جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على المصوّر الصحفي المستقل ياسين قايدي، مراسل "رشمة" المكلّف بتغطية أسطول الصمود العالمي، والذي تعرّض للضرب وسوء المعاملة أثناء احتجازه.
يقبع ياسين حالياً في سجن كتسيعوت أنصار (III) بصحراء النقب، بعد اختطافه من المياه الدولية ليلة 1 أكتوبر، على بُعد نحو 70 ميلاً بحرياً من شاطئ غزة، أثناء تغطيته لهذه المهمة لإنسانية الهادفة إلى كسر الحصار.
تعتبر "رشمة" أن ما حدث انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي واعتداء مباشر على حرية الصحافة، وتطالب بـالإفراج الفوري وغير المشروط عن ياسين قايدي وجميع نشطاء الأسطول المعتقلين .كما تؤكد على أن ما أقدم عليه جيش الاحتلال يمثل استهدافاً متعمداً لوسائل الإعلام المستقلة التي تسعى لتوثيق ما يجري في غزة والمياه الإقليمية المحيطة بها.
كما تعبّر "رشمة" عن قلقها الشديد إزاء مصير الناشط خليل الحبيبي، الذي الذي راسلنا طيلة رحلة الأسطول ولا تزال أخباره منقطعة منذ اعتقاله. قلقنا تغذيه شهادات المعتقلين المفرج عنهم المتقاطعة حول تعنيف واستهداف أعضاء الأسطول الحاملين لجنسيات مغاربية بصفة خاصة.
تدعو "رشمة" المجتمع الدولي والمنظمات الحقوقية إلى التحرك العاجل للضغط من أجل إطلاق سراح الصحفيين والمشاركين كافة، ووضع حدّ لانتهاكات الاحتلال ضد الإعلام الحر من قتل ممنهج وتعذيب وضرب وتنكيل وتعتيم قصد طمس جرائمه اليومية في حق الشعب الفلسطيني.
كما راسلت "رشمة" مفوضيّة الأمم المتّحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان ومجموعة من المنظمات الدولية المعنية بالدفاع عن حقوق الصحفيين. ونواصل متابعة الأوضاع مع النقابة الوطنية للصحفيين التونسيين ونعاضد مساعيها بمعية الفدرالية الدولية للصحفيين وغيرها من شركائها الدوليين.
🔴 Urgent Statement: Photojournalist Yassine Gaidi’s Life is in Danger!
Rachma Media strongly condemns the assault by the Israeli occupation forces on independent photojournalist Yassine Gaidi, a correspondent for Rachma covering the Global Sumud Flotilla, who was subjected to beating and mistreatment during his detention.
Yassine Gaidi is currently held in Ketziot Prison (Ansar III) in the Negev Desert, after being kidnapped from international waters on the night of October 1, approximately 70 nautical miles off the coast of Gaza, while covering this humanitarian mission aimed at breaking the blockade.
Rachma considers these actions a blatant violation of international law and a direct attack on press freedom, and demands the immediate and unconditional release of Yassine Gaidi and all detained flotilla activists. It also stresses that these acts represent a deliberate targeting of independent media seeking to document events in Gaza and its surrounding waters.
Rachma further expresses serious concern for activist Khalil Habibi, who reported regularly for Rachma throughout the flotilla journey and whose whereabouts and condition remain unknown since his arrest. Our concern is reinforced by consistent testimonies from released detainees, indicating systematic abuse and targeting of flotilla members holding North African nationalities in particular.
Rachma calls on the international community and human rights organizations to act urgently to pressure for the release of all journalists and participants, and to end the occupation’s systematic violations against free media, including killings, torture, beatings, mistreatment, and cover-ups aimed at concealing daily crimes against the Palestinian people.
Rachma has also contacted the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and a number of international organizations concerned with the defense of journalists' rights. We continue to monitor the situation in coordination with the National Union of Tunisian Journalists, supporting its efforts alongside the International Federation of Journalists and other international partners.
