The 26th of February was a day to remember for the « THEATRO INSAT » club. The famous JTI(INSAT Theatro’s yearly event) took place in the auditorium, marking its 9th edition and adding not only excitement and anticipation to the students but also yet another captivating performance brought to life by the talented members who showcased a remarkable blend of creativity and professionalism.

Dans ce nouvel épisode d’Insa’Talks, nous plongeons dans l’univers fascinant de la biologie, sous les yeux d'une experte : Madame Yosr Zaouali. Professeure, maître de conférences et chercheuse passionnée, elle a ce talent rare de transformer l’extrêmement complexe en une vérité simple, limpide, presque exquise. À travers ses mots, ce qui semblait insaisissable devient soudain évident, presque naturel.
Comme le disait Léonard de Vinci : "La simplicité est la sophistication suprême", et c’est exactement ce qu’elle incarne.
Ce qui frappe chez elle, ce n’est pas l’étendue de son savoir, mais la clarté avec laquelle elle le transmet. Elle n’enseigne pas pour impressionner, mais pour faire comprendre. Elle ne simplifie pas, elle précise.
Nombreux sont les étudiants qui évoquent ses cours comme des repères, non parce qu’ils sont faciles, mais parce qu’ils sont bien construits, justes et sans superflu. Elle fait ce que l’on attend d’un professeur : mettre la science à la portée de l’esprit.
Dans cet épisode, nous découvrirons ses inspirations, son parcours académique et pourquoi elle a choisi cette voie.
Nous évoquerons également les obstacles rencontrés dans son parcours et la manière dont elle a su les surmonter.
Nous plongerons aussi dans sa vision de la biologie, non seulement comme une science, mais comme un style de vie.

Sous un ciel sans espoir.
Il faisait tout pour m’éteindre,
Sans même daigner me rejoindre.

Nos chemins se sont éloignés,
Sans un mot, sans un dernier ba**er.
Comment briser, sans remords,
Une histoire si belle, si forte ?

Ton regard, un éclat oublié,
Je le cherche encore pour m’y noyer.
Mes yeux, épuisés de pleurer,
Espèrent un signe, un léger reflet.

Je tentais, encore et encore,
Mais tout s’efface, tout dévore.
Tes promesses, parties avec le vent,
Ton amour, effacé, si distant.

Je courais, je volais, je m’épuisais,
Refusant d’accepter, de renoncer.
Mon cœur, têtu, voulait espérer,
Malgré l’absence, malgré l’obscurité.

Guidée par ton sourire d’autrefois,
Ton parfum plane encore sur moi.
Ton souffle me frôle, imaginaire,
Comment décrire ce qu’il reste à faire ?

Alors j’ai cessé de fuir,
Appris à me reconstruire.
J’ai planté des fleurs sur mes plaies,
Et laissé mourir ce qui me liait.

Aujourd’hui, je marche sans tes chaînes,
Libérée de cette ancienne peine.
Ton souvenir n’est qu’une poussière,
Dans un ciel redevenu clair.

Je n’attends plus rien de tes yeux,
J’ai appris à voir le monde mieux.
Et si un jour, nos regards se croisent,
Je saurai que j’ai tourné la page.

Unbreaking news wasn’t just a marathon, it was a feast for the mind. Different participants, each with a unique vision, showed us remarkable talent and adaptability. They dealt with pressure and produced something beyond their limits. They showed the world that " impossible" exists only in dictionaries. They took on the challenge with strong convictions and achieved their purpose. It was truly inspiring to witness such passionate souls, unwavering in the face of obstacles.
Worriors are not born, they are created.

On April 18th, 2025, INSAT (National Institute of Applied Science and Technology) had the distinguished honor of hosting Professor Moungi G. Bawendi, co-recipient of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, for an exceptional conference dedicated to quantum dots. A leading figure in the field of nanoscience, Professor Bawendi captivated the audience by presenting the groundbreaking foundations of his research on these nanoscale semiconductors, whose optical and electronic properties depend on their size.
The event held special meaning in Tunisia, not only due to the global scientific impact of his contributions but also because of his deep personal connection to the country, being the son of Professor Mohamed Salah Bawendi, one of the early pioneers of scientific education in Tunisia. This conference was a powerful source of inspiration for students, researchers, and educators alike, demonstrating how science can transcend borders and serve as a bridge between nations and generations through excellence.
