Best Place For a Curry In Hisarönü Turkey!
Some restaurants serve food… but every now and then, you come across a place with a story behind it. ❤️🍛
We had the most amazing experience here — incredible food, beautiful ambience and genuinely warm, friendly service. But what really made our visit special was meeting Hassan, the owner.
Almost 30 years ago, Hassan left for Scotland with a dream to learn the art of Indian cuisine. His journey eventually took him to Bradford, where he spent years working in the BIR industry, learning the skills, techniques and, as he puts it, the “secrets” behind a great British Indian curry.
After learning everything he could, Hassan took that knowledge, passion and experience all the way back to Turkey. 🇹🇷 And over 20 years ago, he opened this restaurant in Hisarönü.
What struck us most was the man behind the food. Hassan is an absolute gentleman — incredibly humble, welcoming and genuinely passionate about what he does. You can feel that passion in every dish.
There’s something really special about eating food made by someone who has spent decades perfecting their craft and then bringing that journey across countries and cultures. ❤️
And the curry? Absolutely incredible. 🤤🍛
If you’re in Hisarönü and looking for Indian food, honestly, this has to be on your list. For us, it’s easily one of the best places for Indian curry in the area.
