E500 Television congratulates Kimella Mitchell, recipient of the Jade Park 500 Scholarship 2025. For the second year, the Jade Park 500 Group hosted its annual 5K Run, with proceeds supporting the Jade Park Scholarship Fund. This initiative rewards the top SEA student of the Edinburgh 500 Government Primary School. Members of the Jade Park Community Kurt Roseman and Kamie Mahadeo are pictured here presenting Kimella with her scholarship cheque and certificate.

The Edinburgh 500 Community Council distributed back-to-school packages last Tuesday at the Edinburgh 500 Community Centre. The initiative was made possible through the donations courtesy MP Dr. David Lee, Massy Stores & RAW Fitness Brentwood along with E500 Council Members Afiesha Waterman & Keion Alexander.

Reduction of water supply in Edinburgh 500 from August 18th - 24th

WASA advises that the Point Lisas Desalination Plant will be shut down for planned maintenance from Monday 18th to Saturday 24th August 2025. This may affect water supply in Chaguanas and other Central/South areas.

WASA will be redistributing supply, increasing water trucking, and implementing temporary supply schedules.

Residents are encouraged to store water in advance and use it wisely during this period.
