Happy Indian Arrival Day 🇹🇹

Today, I honour my great-great-grandmother, who came to Trinidad from Kalash as an indentured labourer, carrying little more than courage, determination, and hope for a better life.

Through sacrifice, perseverance, and resilience, she became part of a generation that helped shape the rich cultural fabric of our land.

The Trinidad and Tobago we love was built by people from many backgrounds, each contributing to the nation we proudly call home.

A home with no place for racism, discrimination, prejudice, nor division in any form.
