Supermarket Security Footage Exposes Alleged Theft at Caura Junction
Management and local authorities are currently reviewing surveillance footage following a reported theft at a supermarket establishment near Caura Junction. The recorded footage captures the moment an individual closely observed and subsequently removed a purse belonging to an elderly customer before exiting the facility.
Look at face, nah! A real bold-faced act play out inside the supermarket by Caura Junction, the location citizens know well as the former Cost Cutters. The camera show this operator sliding in real smooth right by the checkout counter while a grandmother was focusing on paying for her groceries.
Instead of watching his own business, his eye was glued straight on the lady purse. The minute she turn her back to handle her items, he just reach out, pick up the purse, and dip out the store like he own the place!
If you take a close look at the high-quality security image 928238.jpg, you can see him walking out the door looking real relaxed and satisfied with himself, carrying some black plastic bags. The suspect is a slim-built male wearing dark shades, a black cap, a black jersey with a circular red and gold logo on the left chest, and a very distinct pair of black trackpants featuring white and bright green stripes around the lower leg.
Call to Action

Serious Threats Levied Against Port Of Spain Task Force Officers
An investigation has been launched following a disturbing incident where live ammunition and written threats were left outside the home of a local law enforcement officer. The officer, attached to the Port of Spain Task Force, detailed a series of escalating intimidations tied to an ongoing court matter.
Look at how things reach a level in Trinidad, people. A video circulating on social media shows a police officer wearing gloves, picking up a brown envelope left right outside his front door. Written plain-plain on the paper is a warning to him and two other officers, Samson and Carter, telling them to drop a court matter against the government, or "next time is shots."
When the officer shake out the envelope, three live 5.56 rifle rounds drop out on the ground. According to the lawman, this is just the latest in a string of serious intimidation. The night before, somebody try to run him, his wife, and his three-year-old son off the road. He went to the Freeport Police Station to make a report, but the suspect still calling his phone threatening his life.
But the part that have everybody talking is the response—or lack thereof—from his own colleagues. The frustrated officer explain that when he call the station this morning to get assistance for the live rounds outside his house, a WPC Hoyte tell him nobody can come right now. The excuse? Shift changing, officers driving the whole night, and people calling out sick. The man had to sit down and wait on a shift change while targeted by criminals. Well yes, if the police themselves getting the "no vehicle/shift change" runaround when their life in danger, what hope the average citizen have?
Call to Action
What are your thoughts on this situation? If frontline officers cannot get an immediate response when live ammunition is dropped at their door, how can the public feel secure? Share your thoughts below, and as always, keep your eyes open and stay safe out there.
