Special Olympics Trinidad and Tobago (SOTT), in a landmark partnership with the Trinidad & Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB), has successfully staged a “Cricket Inclusion” workshop to train coaches on how to effectively instruct athletes with intellectual disabilities.
The event brought together a diverse group of participants, from national and community-level coaches to coaching tutors, all committed to making cricket more accessible for those with special needs.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar is recommending a device for homeowners which she says is an inexpensive but effective tool to respond to home invasions.
At last night’s Stand Your Ground consultation in her constituency, the PM revealed that she has a panic button installed in her home, which can be pressed to trigger a loud, siren-like noise to scare off intruders.
She said this tool can be used until legislation is brought to the Parliament to give homeowners more power to protect themselves.

Real Madrid have strongly rejected plans to play Villarreal's La Liga match with Barcelona in the United States, saying it "sets an unacceptable precedent".
The fixture is scheduled for 21st December at Villarreal but the Spanish football federation approved the proposal on Monday and will now seek permission from FIFA and UEFA to switch it to the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
Real Madrid have expressed their "strongest rejection of the proposal" to play the match outside Spain.
