In observance of World Glaucoma Week, renowned Trinidadian artist and mas man 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐬 invites the public to experience his powerful art exhibition “𝐎𝐃𝐘𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐄: 𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐚.”
Roberts has been living with Glaucoma for over a decade. Having lost vision in his right eye and experiencing faded vision in the other, he continues to create remarkable works—painting from what he calls “the eye of the mind.” His exhibition shares a deeply personal journey while encouraging greater awareness about eye health and the importance of early testing.

Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve, often caused by increased pressure in the eye. It is one of the leading causes of irreversible blindness worldwide, but early detection can help prevent serious vision loss.
