salt district mayor is calling out to the multiverse for a creative collaborator — a multidisciplinary, detail-oriented, culture-driven storyteller ready to help build + scale an audiovisual label + archive, launch a listening room, and carry taiwan’s sonic stories into the future.
💽 PART-TIME VINYL / HIFI ASSOCIATE
🎛️ WHAT YOU’LL DO
・ VINYL DISTRIBUTION
liaise with record shops for distribution of our in-house releases, manage inventory, pack + ship orders, and connect with local + international vinyl communities.
・ ARCHIVAL
assist in organizing, logging, digitizing, and preserving the SDM archive; participate in vinyl cleaning + resleeving days.
・ EVENTS
curate + coordinate local taiwan events, showcases, and programs; assist with listening session logistics; connect with venues; on-site support.
・WEB + FULFILLMENT
help build and design the new SDM website + shop; organize product listings, shipping flows, and inventory systems.
・ MEDIA + SOCIALS
edit event archival videos, DJ sets, and listening sessions; prep posts + captions; assist with photo / video shoots; operate cameras; design creative graphics and maintain SDM’s visual identity + voice.
・ CREATIVE ADMIN
support grant applications, bilingual copywriting, and internal documents.
this role will gradually evolve from PART TIME VINYL / HIFI ASSOCIATE into HIFI SPACE CREATIVE OPERATIONS LEAD — curating listening sessions, managing our custom A/V sound system, and mentoring future tea baristas at our upcoming kaohsiung hifi listening room.
🍵 WHO YOU ARE
passionate about vinyl, hifi, independent music, and taiwanese music, cinema, and roots culture.
fluent in mandarin, comfortable in english.
skilled in adobe suite, video editing, basic web tools, and camera operation
a self-starter: organized, punctual, independent, and curious.
an aesthetic engineer + clear communicator — calm under pressure, intensely obsessive and serious about craft, and a bit of a nerd.

location: kaohsiung (hybrid remote OK, southern-based)
start: december 2025
schedule: 2–3 days per week / flexible hours
compensation: hourly or project-based honorarium
