The restaurant is owned and managed by a father-son team. Meals are created using seasonal ingredients grown in the restaurant's own garden, and the chef updates the menu to incorporate the freshest ingredients as they become available. Some plant-based dishes include burdock and carrot soup, sesame rice tofu and seasonal salad. For a richer treat, the roasted pumpkin topped with cheese and crispy tofu skin is sure to please.

Come hear what host Aggie Hsieh thinks of Spring Herbs' vegetarian meal set in this episode of "Veggie Island." (Link in comments)

A new global survey conducted by design and architecture firm Gensler has ranked Taipei as the city where residents are most likely to stay long-term, with 64% of respondents indicating they would prefer not to leave.

The result places Taiwan’s capital at the top of a list of ten international cities, ahead of Ho Chi Minh City (61%), Singapore (59%), Sydney (58%), and Berlin (51%).

The study, which examined emotional attachment, quality of life, and safety, highlights Taipei’s strong sense of community, livability, and public satisfaction.

According to Gensler, cities that retain residents are often those that offer not only economic opportunity but also cultural familiarity, personal security, and a high level of urban functionality.
