|講者介紹:
石守謙院士,為傑出的藝術史學者,長年致力於中國繪畫史與東亞藝術史的研究。畢業於本校歷史研究所,及美國普林斯頓大學藝術與考古學博士;於1984年進入中央研究院歷史語言研究所任職,並曾擔任國立臺灣大學藝術史研究所教授與所長、國立故宮博物院副院長與院長,2012年獲選為第29屆中央研究院院士。
其研究以文化史視角切入中國繪畫史,關注風格轉變與文化脈絡的關係、地域性藝術發展、中日藝術交流及「雅」、「俗」觀念的互動與轉化,對中國藝術史理論與方法提出深具啟發性的觀點。近年主持中央研究院「移動的桃花源」、「東亞文化意象之形塑」等跨國計畫,推動中國藝術史研究邁向涵蓋中、日、韓的東亞視野,並深入探討藝術品與觀眾間的歷史性互動。
石院士學術成就卓著,曾兩度榮獲國科會傑出研究獎、國科會特殊優秀人才獎勵。著作《從風格到畫意——反思中國繪畫史》獲行政院新聞局第35屆金鼎獎,以《移動的桃花源——東亞世界中的山水畫》獲頒第一屆中央研究院人文及社會科學學術性專書獎,並於2020年獲選為科技部人文及社會科學領域「最具影響力研究專書」,在藝術史學界享有極高聲譽與影響力。

Introduction of Speaker:
Dr. Shou-chien Shih is a distinguished art historian who has long dedicated himself to studying Chinese painting history and East Asian art history. He earned a master’s degree from the Dept. of History at NTU and a Ph.D. from the Dept. Art and Archaeology at Princeton University. 1984, he joined the Institute of History and Philology at Academia Sinica. He has also served as Professor and Director of the Graduate Institute of Art History at National Taiwan University and Deputy Director and Director of the National Palace Museum. In 2012, he was elected as a member of Academia Sinica (29th).
His research approaches Chinese painting history from a cultural-historical perspective, focusing on the relationship between stylistic changes and cultural context, regional artistic developments, Sino-Japanese artistic exchange, and the interaction and transformation of the concepts of “雅” and “俗.” His work offers thought-provoking insights into the theories and methodologies of Chinese art history. In recent years, he has led several international projects at Academia Sinica, such as 移動的桃花源 and 東亞文化意象之形塑, promoting a broader East Asian perspective that encompasses China, Japan, and Korea, while exploring the historical interactions between artworks and their audiences.
Dr. Shih’s academic achievements are highly acclaimed. He has twice received the Outstanding Research Award and the Special Outstanding Talent Award from the NSTC. His book 《從風格到畫意——反思中國繪畫史》received the 35th Golden Tripod Award from the Government Information Office. Another major work,《移動的桃花源——東亞世界中的山水畫》, received the Academia Sinica Scholarly Monograph Award in the Humanities and Social Sciences and was selected in 2020 as the "Most Influential in the Humanities and Social Sciences" by the NSTC. He enjoys an esteemed reputation and has significantly influenced art history.
