“Taste and see that the Lord is good…”
(Psalm 34:8)

This isn’t just a verse.
It’s an invitation.
To try Jesus.
To come hungry.
To sit at the table where the bread is broken—but never runs out.

You’ve tried many things.
Now try the One who conquered death.
You won’t leave the same.

Root Beer isn’t Beer.

It’s Soda.

Pero bakit ang daming tao ang akala alak siya?
Simple — kasi sa pangalan pa lang, “Beer” eh.

Madalas ganyan din tayo sa buhay.
We judge things — and even people — by labels, by what we heard, or by shallow information.
Without checking the truth.
Without doing our own research.
Without knowing the real foundation.

Ang problema sa ganitong mindset?
Nagiging mababaw ang paniniwala.
Mabilis maniwala sa chismis.
Mabilis mag-cancel ng tao.
Mabilis mag-judge ng sitwasyon.

Pero mabagal magbasa ng Word.
Mabagal mag-pray.
Mabagal magtanong kay Lord for wisdom.

“Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”
— John 7:24 (ESV)

Lesson?
Huwag basta label ang pinapaniwalaan.
Huwag basta sabi-sabi.
Huwag basta kung anong trending.

Truth requires seeking.
Faith requires foundation.

Root Beer isn’t Beer.
And not everything the world tells you is true.
Go deeper. Seek wisdom. Know Jesus.

This is a can of Coke.

To some, it’s the enemy of their diet.
To others, it’s the best thing that ever happened to fried chicken.

Funny how one thing can either ruin your body or complete your meal — depends who’s holding the can.

Lesson?

It’s never really about the Coke.
It’s about the control.

Even blessings, when abused, become burdens.
Even good things, when mishandled, become problems.

Money? Good.
Love? Good.
Social media? Good.
Coke? Very good with ice.

But when these things start controlling you instead of you controlling them — that’s when good things turn dangerous.

Remember:
It’s not the thing.
It’s how you handle the thing.

Even Coke has instructions: “Drink responsibly.”
(Okay, maybe that’s for something else — but you get the point.)

A plate of garlic fried rice, a sunny-side-up egg with crispy edges, and sardines with kalamansi— Why not?

Happiness doesn’t need to be complicated.
