👶 Taiwan Labor Insurance – Maternity Benefits

✅ Qualification

• Normal childbirth: Coverage ≥ 280 days bago manganak
• Premature birth: Coverage ≥ 181 days bago manganak (20th–37th week / 140–258 days)
• Within 1 year after insurance termination: Eligible pa rin kung buntis ka during coverage period at pasok sa 280/181‑day rule
• ❌ Not covered: Miscarriage, molar pregnancy, extra‑uterine (ectopic) pregnancy

💰 Claim Standard

• Lump sum = 60 days’ salary (based on average monthly insured salary of last 6 months)
• Multiple births: dagdag proportional benefit

📄 Documents Required

• Application Form (ma‑download sa Labor Insurance website)
• Baby’s PSA birth certificate
(Born in the Philippines: DFA + TECO authenticated)
(Born in Taiwan: no authentication needed)
• Taiwan Medical Certificate (must show baby’s gestational age)
• Bank account passbook copy with bank code (same name as insured person)
• ARC / NHI Health Card

⚠️ Notes
• Claim must be filed within 5 years from payable date
• Pwede pang humabol kung wala pang 5 years old ang baby mo
