Arturo aka Artro from Costa Rica is a multi-instrumentalist, who has been involved in music for more than 25 years: opened the first electronic music record store in Central America - Sinestesia Record Store, currently making events and works from Trial Error Studio in San José. "This mix is a hybrid combination and exploration of darkness and light, vinyl and digital at different intensities and recorded at Trial Error. Noneside Mix Series #139: Rantil

Danish DJ and producer RANTIL, who grew up in Billund and recently returned to Denmark after eight formative years in Berlin, recorded a minimal trancy deep tech sound mix for Noneside listeners ❤️ He dont use any META apps, so soundcloud only exclusive!

"When I play, I work towards a shared atmosphere with the crowd, letting each track add another layer and draw us further into it. This mix captures the backbone of my sound: minimal and deep tech built on stripped-back drums, rolling basslines and steady, hypnotic grooves. Woven through it is the emotional pull of early-2000s trance and progressive house. The mix develops gradually, with one step leading naturally to the next. Tension and euphoria build throughout the journey without interrupting the flow. I wanted it to feel equally at home beneath an open festival sky and inside a dark warehouse club—enough light and lift for the open air, but enough pressure and grit for a room with no windows."

Розпитали Антона Brooht за улюблені платівки, що надихнули його на трек «Xpansion» що виходить зараз на платівці «Sometimes I'm Blinded By Beauty» від Noneside.

1 Kim Ann Foxman – Blood Moon (2020)
Трек не веде до кульмінації, він просто триває, і в цьому вся сила. Звучить просто, але дуже щиро.

2 Leftfield – Leftism (1995)
Платівка, зібрана як єдиний організм. Досі не розумію, як у 95-му можна було зробити настільки цільну річ. Cтільки деталей, що кожне прослуховування відкриває щось нове.

3 Black Devil Disco Club – Black Devil In Dub (2007)
Диско, записане інопланетянами, які про диско тільки чули в переказах. Дивна, липка, ні на що не схожа річ. Музика, яка ніби існує поза часом.

4 Jens – Psycho Strings (1999)
Транс тієї епохи, коли емоцію не соромилися подавати прямо, без іронії. Для мене це чиста енергія кінця 90х. Достатньо кількох секунд, щоб упізнати цей трек, а струнні тут досі викликають мурашки.

5 Sultana – Te Amo (1993)
Один із тих релізів, що завжди піднімає настрій і нагадує, наскільки красивим може бути хаус.

Тоохи про трек «Xpansion» авторства Brooht: «Один із небагатьох моїх електро-треків і, мабуть, найбільш експериментальних. Написаний у 2023 році повністю на залізі для лайву на фестивалі Стрічка. Мені було цікаво вичавити з моїх девайсів максимум можливостей. Найбільше пишаюся перкусією. Хотілося, щоб вона не просто тримала ритм, а жила власним життям: ніби окремі елементи говорять між собою, відповідають один одному і складаються в мелодію без жодного вокалу. Я не так часто пишу електро, але завжди був великим фанатом цього жанру. Для мене Xpansion це своєрідна данина класичному електро, але пропущена через моє власне бачення і звучання.»
