Fun Fact about - in almost two years of life in the city none of my smiles and nodes in greeting were ever returned to me with eye contact with strangers on the street.
Smiling and nodding “hello” is so natural to me that I do it all the time, but after hundreds and hundreds done in Québec I hadn’t had even one back. I wonder sometimes if I’m still visible?
