In the thirteenth episode of the second season of Street Culture Podcast, we go back to the 80s, when breaking was just emerging in Sweden. These were the times of VHS tapes, disco clubs for teenagers, and the first battles in school hallways. That's when it all began – with robot dance, Rocksteady crew tapes, and roller skating parties. Everything that is now called a scene was then simply called «being in your neighborhood and wanting to dance». 🕺📼
Bboy Freeze's story is a journey from living room floors and the first belly mill to the creation of the legendary Ghost Crew. It's a conversation about contrasts – when someone trained with city support, and someone else under threat of arrest due to VHS. When someone had clubs and tours, and someone else had only concrete and stubbornness. 💪🏽🚧
We talk not only about dance but also about a generation that didn't stop when it became «unfashionable». About the dark ages of Scandinavian breaking, which laid the foundation for everything that exists now. About those times when one had to fight not for medals, but for the very existence of culture. 🏆🕶️

Усе, що зараз називається сценою, тоді називалося просто «бути на своєму районі й хотіти танцювати» 🏡.
Історія Bboy Freeze – це шлях від підлоги у вітальні та першого belly mill до створення легендарного Ghost Crew 👻. Це розмова про контрасти – коли хтось тренувався за підтримки міста, а хтось – під загрозою арешту через VHS 📹. Коли в когось були клуби та тури, а в когось – лише бетон і впертість 💪.
Ми говоримо не тільки про танець, а й про покоління, яке не зупинилось, коли стало «не модно» 🎧. Про dark ages скандинавського брейкінгу, які заклали фундамент для всього, що є зараз 🧱. Про ті часи, коли треба було боротися не за медалі, а за сам факт існування культури 🏆.
