The Audio - Cheza (Chris leezy ft Offah)
Sensational West Nile musician, Song writer and events manager, Chris Leezy earlier relocated to West Africa, Nigeria after landing a deal with Icon music, a label mostly invested in discovering and exposing raw talent.
In his three months stay, Chris has been sampling different producers and connecting with industry stakeholders, under guidance of his label directors. A section of West Nile music fans have been anticipating his projects after relocation and Chris Leezy finally delivered his first piece, a song dubbed 'Cheza' ft Offah, a fast rising female artist under the same label as Chris.
The audio 'Cheza' simply depicts Chris Leezy's rich music background , with a fine blend into the diverse, and competitive industry he has found himself in. 'Cheza' is a Swahili word that translates to 'Dance', and it has constituted the simple yet catchy chorus of his tune. Chris sticks to English for the verses and then Offah comes in to complement him with that pidgin style and accent.
This piece brings out a real African vibe, and a Westnile sound that has been lacking for a long time. Chris Leezy says he is just getting started, a whole E.p awaits as he keeps working on new music.
