THE AMBASSADORIAL POST WAS FOR MBALE.

His Eminence the Muft of Uganda has remained vocal about the position left by late Ambassador Dr Hassan Galiwango who was the diplomat representing Uganda Republic in Kenya and Seychelles that it belongs to the people of Mbale and to the Muslims.

Muft requested the president not to give out the slot to other people since he had given it already to the people of masaba land.

Among the names being discussed for possible reprecement is Hajji Mwenyi Harshim Abeid who served this government for over 15 years at immigration department.

When approached Mwenyi said that he can serve if given the opportunity because he has all the qualities and experience since he worked at different boarders of the country for a long time.
