Uganda Electoral Commission is dispatching polling materials to different districts from its warehouse in Ntinda as part of key activities.

Preparing voters for the 2026 General Elections, the materials are designated for use on polling day for the Presidential, Directly Elected Member of Parliament, and District Woman Member of Parliament elections.

Kasese District received these materials yesterday (10th January 2026), where Lt Joe Walusimbi, the Resident District Commissioner explained that the materials are safe and protected.

The Electoral materials were received and different political parties witnessed the arrival of these materials.

Kamama Fatuma, the NUP Candidate for Women Member of Parliament for Kasese, called upon the public to turn out in big numbers and vote for their candidates.

She emphasized the need for a free and fair election, calling for transparency in the process of the elections
