The most awaited new movie of our mentor and friend, is soon on screens all over the world.
We are so glad to see how inspiring her passage to Nakivale has been an instrument of hope and determination for several refugee filmmakers actors/actresses for the refugee communities.

I have to highlight how the number of female actresses have doubled in our filmmaking program in Nakivale Refugee Settlement since they met and heard from Sibongile’s journey to where she is now, they see themselves represented on international level and they voices, efforts and activities recognized.

Sibongile Mlambo as a role model for refugee filmmakers and actors/actresses.

Every month, the World Refugee Film Academy gathers young passionate refugee filmmakers, storytellers, and actors in Nakivale Refugee Settlement to empower them in the creative skills to tackle challenges they are facing in their own community using film and stories that they share during training.
In our April and May training, trainees gathered and discussed different subjects that matter to them which resulted in the production of this short movie about the daily life of the majority of women in Nakivale.

We are requesting the public opinion to bring their input after watching this short movie.
