Education
Each year, True Hope identifies 25-30 of the
most vulnerable children (aged 3-5) and place them in our
nursery school. This programme is funded by individual
sponsors who pay a monthly donation of £20 per child.
Once in our education system, each child is provided with
the opportunity to go to school, two meals a day, access to
safe, clean drinking water and basic free medical care. The
children attend True Hope foundation school from baby
nursery class all the way to Primary 7, the last year of
primary school in Uganda. After the children reach P7, they
graduate into the local secondary school for 4 more years of
education up to Senior 4. From the first day that the child joins our program, Uganda Hands for Hope is very
much involved in the child’s welfare, health, and education; providing a holiday programme during each
term break and social workers’ services on a daily basis
