Today, I celebrate another year of life and learning.
Each birthday reminds me of how far I’ve come and how much more I can grow.
With every year, I’ve gained resilience in the face of challenges.
I’ve learned the power of consistency and patience.
I’ve discovered the value of building meaningful relationships.
I’ve embraced change as a pathway to progress.
I’ve sharpened my skills while staying open to new knowledge.
I’ve learned that true growth comes from both wins and setbacks.
I’ve grown more grateful for the opportunities and people around me.
And most importantly, I’ve realized that growth never stops — it compounds year after year.

Then and now ,Two different versions of me.

Think a Social Media Manager just “posts stuff”? Think again.

I recently had an interview that lasted less than 15 minutes — and in that short time, it became clear how misunderstood this role really is.

They wanted someone who could be:

Graphic designer

Marketer

Paid ads specialist

Video director

Communications officer

SEO optimizer

Public relations officer

…and also:

Create and shoot content

Edit videos

Write captions and plan strategy

Run paid ads and build detailed reports

Manage influencers and reply to every DM

Grow followers organically

Be on call—even on weekends

All for a salary that barely matched an social media role .

Here’s the reality: Social Media Managers do way more than just post content. We’re strategists, creatives, analysts, communicators, and sometimes even customer service reps.

So if you expect one person to do it all, start by valuing what they bring — not just what you see on the screen.
