Madrid set conditions for Mbappe if he wants to sign in 2024

PSG announced with great fanfare the renewal of Kylian Mbappe's contract until 2025 in 2022, just before the end of the season. At the time, many took it for granted that the striker was going to play for Real Madrid, a club he had been in talks with for some time, but the huge offer the French club put on the table changed his mind.

That contract until 2025 had a curiosity. The '7' signed for 2 seasons with an option for another one, but it turns out that he doesn't intend to honour that extra one.

Throughout all this time, Real Madrid have continued to be mentioned as a possible destination for Mbappe. 'Los Blancos' have never hidden the fact that he is a player they like and, according to 'AS', he remains so today.

At the Madrid side they would have the Frenchman on their short list, but circumstances have changed. If in 2022 they were willing to pay 180 million for him, now they would not pay a single euro for him.

In order to sign Mbappe, Madrid are making it a condition that he arrives for free, something that would be fulfilled if, as they say in France, he does not exercise that renewal clause, which would allow him to leave in a year's time. And not only that: 'Los Blancos' want the player to publicly show that he wants to move to the Santiago Bernabeu and, at the same time, to smooth things over with the fans after last year's rejection.

Real Madrid learned their lesson with Mbappe then and will not repeat their mistakes. It refuses to be used by the player to get a better contract from PSG. In other words: the ball is in his court and, if he wants to be a madridista, he has one year ahead of him to prove it.

Police in Kassanda are investigating a tragedy that had befallen Makokoto Police Post, Makokoto SubCounty in Kassanda District where, No,51037 PC Kitiyo Alex fired gun shots into the air and later took his own life.

According to an account from IP Kakooza John, a male adult aged 53yrs old, who is a Muganda by tribe and the incharge of Makokoto Police Post in Kassanda District, On the 24/5/2023 at about 0500hrs at Makokoto Trading Center, the deceased who worked the day shift yesterday the 23/5/2023 and entered his house to sleep, woke up with his gun at about 0500hrs of today 24/5/2023 and shot several bullets into the room of his in charge police post while not talking any thing, he later went back to his room sat on his bed and shot him self dead.

IP Kakooza said a team of police officers commanded by ASP Halera Urban O.C station Kassanda Police Station and the D/CID ASP Mboowa Yasin Galiwango booked out to the scene of crime on information. The crime scene has been cordoned for processing and relevant statements are being recorded to guide on investigation.

Sad news Sadio Mané will not play the world cup......

Sadio Mane has been ruled out of the 2022 World Cup due to a leg injury, Senegal have confirmed.

The Bayern Munich forward emerged as a doubt for the early stages of the tournament on account of an injury to his right fibula, but was selected in the hope he would be fit to play after the "first games”.
On Thursday evening the Senegal team doctor, Manuel Afonso, announced he would not be able to recover from the injury in time, and will therefore withdraw from the squad.

"Unfortunately, today's [Thursday] MRI shows us that the improvement is not as favourable as we imagined and unfortunately we have to withdraw Sadio from the World Cup," Afonso said in a video on the official Senegal Twitter account.

Mane sustained the injury in Bayern Munich's 6-1 win over Werder Bremen in the penultimate round of Bundesliga games before the tournament in Qatar.

He was substituted after only 20 minutes, and the club diagnosed an injury to the "head of the fibula bone in his lower right leg” the next day.
