Aaaaaaaaaah Okay!!!!!!!!
🤰✨ C-Section or Surrogacy? Navigating Pregnancy Choices with Type 1 Diabetes & Anxiety Disorder.
Personally i would opt for option 2 ,since i had it rough some years back plus the anxiety disorder saga + Stigma against T1D moms , honestly saying ;my body is extremely allergic to stressful episodes and can not contain so much & besides am clocking the age limit soon.
🩵WHAT ABOUT YOU?🩵
For individuals living with Type 1 Diabetes and anxiety disorder, planning a family can bring extra layers of decision-making. Two common options are C-section delivery or surrogacy — both with unique pros and cons. 💛
👉 C-Section for T1D moms
✅ Pros:
• Allows better planning around blood sugar management & medical care.
• Reduces risk of emergency situations during delivery.
• Controlled hospital setting helps ease anxiety.
❌ Cons:
• Longer recovery period.
• Higher risk of infection & slower wound healing (especially with diabetes).
• Possible impact on future pregnancies.
👉 Surrogacy
✅ Pros:
• No direct physical strain on your body.
• Avoids pregnancy-related complications tied to T1D (like preeclampsia).
• Can reduce pregnancy-related anxiety triggers.
❌ Cons:
• Emotional challenges of not carrying the baby.
• Legal & financial complexities.
• Less control over pregnancy health decisions.
👶 Right age bracket?
Experts suggest the ideal age for pregnancy is 20-35 years, when risks are generally lower. For T1D and anxiety management, planning early, with your medical team, is key. Surrogacy can be considered beyond 35, but always consult specialists! 💡
