UPDATE: Taxi operators and local authorities in Koboko District are raising concerns over rising insecurity on the Uganda–Juba highway, following the killing of another Ugandan driver, Innocent Metaloro, in an ambush near Juba. This brings the number of drivers from Koboko killed on the route to 10. The drivers are urging the South Sudan government to address the violence or risk a halt in bilateral trade. Efforts are underway to retrieve the body from the Uganda–South Sudan border at Elegu.
