Arsenal have offered Myles Lewis-Skelly to Man Utd and Chelsea after signing Bruno Guimarães.The 19-year-old Hale End graduate is available following the midfield reinforcement. Fresh contact made with both clubs.
Why Arsenal might sell him:

Squad depth: Guimarães (£75m) joins an already crowded midfield (Rice, Zubimendi, Merino, Ødegaard, Eze). Lewis-Skelly’s preferred position is central midfield, so regular minutes look harder.

Positional competition: At left-back he’s behind Calafiori and Hincapié. He only started a handful of Premier League games last season before a late surge.

Financial/PSR reasons: Big summer spending means potential sales of academy products help balance the books while keeping the squad lean.

Opportunity for the player: At 19 with a contract to 2030, a move could give him guaranteed starts elsewhere rather than rotational minutes.

He’s still highly rated (versatile, England international, strong mentality), so any sale would likely command a significant fee.

Why does Arsenal keep buying players for crazy money… but selling them for next to nothing? Let’s be real. Our record sale is still Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for £35m to Liverpool… in 2017. Almost 10 years later. That’s embarrassing when you look at what Chelsea, City, Liverpool and even Spurs are getting for players.Meanwhile we’ve spent close to a billion under Arteta. Rice £100m+, Havertz £65m, Zubimendi, Eze, Gyokeres, Guimaraes… the list goes on. We buy high. Always. And most of the time it works because Arteta actually develops them. But the selling side? Painful.

Here’s why it keeps happening:

We hold onto players too long. Once Arteta decides you’re not part of the plans, you’re frozen out. Value drops. Buyers know we’re desperate.

High wages. Big contracts make it hard for other clubs (especially abroad) to take our players without us taking a massive cut on the fee.

We don’t produce enough “saleable stars” who other big clubs actually want. When we do sell (Smith Rowe, Nketiah, Balogun, Kiwior, Trossard this summer), the fees are solid but never elite-level.
Other clubs know our history. They lowball us because they know we’ll eventually fold rather than keep a player rotting in the reserves.

We’re great at building a squad. Terrible at trading one.

And in the modern PSR/FFP world, that matters more than ever.I love what Arteta has built the title last season proved it.

But if we want to keep competing at the top without constantly relying on owner money, we have to get better at selling high.Andrea Berta has a big job on his hands. What do you guys think is the biggest reason we struggle to sell? Drop it below

Pedro Neto links heating up this morning…Reports saying Arsenal have already contacted his camp to show interest. Chelsea want around £70m.After missing out on Vini, makes sense we’re looking at experienced Premier League options. Pace, directness, knows the league.Would take him if the price is right, but £70m feels steep. What do you lot think?

🚨 EXCLUSIVE | Arsenal Transfer Update:
Real Madrid are ready to test Arsenal’s resolve with a €70m offer for Martin Zubimendi.

Arsenal would only consider letting him leave for around €90m, especially with Bruno Guimarães now arriving.

But this isn’t simply about the money Zubi is an important part of Arsenal’s plans.

Gooners, would you really want to lose Zubimendi, even for €90m?

Tzolis is way too good for the amount of money we paid for him. These are the type of players you pay more than £117M for in today’s market if you’re buying him from a premier league club.

🚨 || 🇪🇸 have done everything they can now, to get Cristian 🇦🇷, having bid £34.2m and offering him a wage package worth £98k PW (£5.1m annually). 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 could very much still hijack the deal by making a higher bid to , which could make them rethink, despite relations being nonexistent [Via - ].
