This afternoon from her sickbed, Maama Barbie Kyagulanyi has briefed the media about last night’s raid on their residence at Magere, Wakiso District.
She recounted the traumatic memories and the horrible experiences she faced at the hands of masked armed gunmen who did the unthinkable in a bid to coerce her into disclosing the whereabouts of the president H.E Bobi Wine. She did not relent even as the ill intentioned goons vandalized the property at home, looted some and spoke all sorts of nasty things.
Despite all the heart-wrenching experience, the First Lady remains steadfast and has appealed to the president to only surface when he feels it’s the right time to do so.
The NUP strongly condemns such provocative actions and rallies the international community to consider holding the repressive Museveni regime accountable for its crimes and atrocities committed during and after the concluded election!
