MY JOURNEY TO REPOSITIONING MYSELF
I have always seen other people living what I feel is a fabulous life and most of the time I think i could do the same if only I was different. But i don’t make any effort to change.
I have tried many times in the past only to fail, over and over again and I am tired of trying and failing.
However I considered this: Why am I tempting to change into the right ways? Well, I know which things to change about myself to get the desired results;
(1) My priorities.This might be a bit tricky. But i generally have an idea of the things or people i should prioritize. But in reality, the things or people i do prioritize are vastly different.
For instance, I know i should prioritize talking with my girlfriend. But… when office work calls, i quickly scramble to pick up even if I am in the middle or the start of a conversation with my girlfriend.
But I got this later that I have to Examine my life and be brutally honest with myself and do the important things first. If not, it‘s time for a major adjustment in your priorities.
I have always considered other people before myself and this has always affected me in a way that I don't have time for myself instead for others.
(2) My mindset. Ohh do I have a positive or a negative mindset?
Do I expect good things to happen to me or are I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop? Uh-uh
I have been at a point in trying to change my life for the better if your mindset is negative? You probably don’t think you can do it. If you don’t believe any good will come from it, then why go to all this trouble?
You must believe in yourself and change your way of thinking. That’s the only way you can have any type of success in life.
You must trust that you have the skills and ability to do what you desire. If you do not, there’s no habit, pill, or magic available that can overcome what you think you can or can’t do.
