LABOR DAY SALE

Many discounts on a lot of stuff in my webshop, our ebay store & also Discogs. eBay also has a new volume discount system in place for people who bundle different items into a single order. This will help international buyers out despite eBays large transaction fees.

discogs - https://www.discogs.com/seller/KyotoRollerDerby

For all of the stuff being marked as discontinued, this is part of our yearly inventory in October when unsold stock is pulled to eventually be auctioned off in lots on eBay.

Except new announcements related to European distribution in the next couple of weeks. One half is all ready to go, we're just waiting to finalize the other half of the equation.

For European customers, while nothing is finalized yet I am in discussions with a party to negotiate a new European distro deal for everyone that will likely also heavily benefit Asian & Canadian customers as well.

Another large vinyl update from IG Farben/DTB is looking to take place likely next week.

WINTER SOLACE INVENTORY PURGE

17 items are up for clearance and will be permanently removed from the inventory the destroyed after September 30th.

All of the items in question are products related to people who are no longer with the label and there is zero upward mobility for distribution, with the storage expenses being out of alignment with the current economy.

https://store-wintersolaceproductions-com.3dcartstores.com/search.asp?keyword=PURGE

This is the first in a series of changes/reforms to the label due to recent events as it pertains to the distribution of our releases.

21/08/2026

While I knew about this a few days ago I still do not have any major details or additional information beyond what is being put out there. People can take advantage of their purge sale now.

However sadly this means after 5+ years Winter Solace is going to be looking to negotiate a European distribution deal for all of our products.

Feel free to send any purposals to me via DM or email to [email protected]

Winter Solace is the most unconventional label in the world and obviously will require an unconventional agreement but any perspective company could get up to exclusive access and pricing breaks. My releases bring also a dedicated customer base within the European market that could allow for anyone to have a competitive edge among everyone there.

I do have an immediate need to get Grom/Swerdthegan/Sudwind in European shops (along with the Capricornus tapes that have been out for over a year now) so hopefully someone steps up soon.

These are the Sunchariot/Südwind “Epochs of Solar Heroism” split cassettes. The Sunchariot song on here is the most recent piece of music recorded by the band and the Südwind tracks are the remainder of the bands cursed 2nd album, none of the music on here has been circulated or listened to by anyone yet. As I said on Substack, these were manufactured and have been sitting in our storage unreleased for over a year because of delays with the other formats.

No, you can’t buy these yet as we’re looking at roughly another 12 weeks of manufacturing time for the other formats. I am pleased to announce however, that after 5 years, the Attrition Warfare campaign I had to wage to get this completed has finally been resolved and this will be one of our next major releases.

----

For international customers, I am working quickly to get the Grom/Swerdthegan/Südwind split available in European distros and am hoping for a quick solution to the problem, but we’ll see what happens. I can still ship 2 LPS via Asendia for 25 USD to most major EU locations.

16/08/2026

For international buyers, while I am still working on international distribution. The new releases can be ordered off of eBay's international shipping service now. As Ebay the company is who mails this to you, I think this will go around the new regulations in the EU which I know absolutely nothing about or how it effects any my distributors.

1-2 LPS can be sent via Asendia for usually $25 USD depending on where you live.

It is not possible to list the cassettes to eBay as you'd be paying 20 USD to accommodate eBay's selling fees.

Feel free also to Lobby your local dealers as well.

“Making Of” bonus feature for this split, while this is in a different style of writing that people might not enjoy as much (this is similar to how I communicated on various message boards) or become fixated with. I feel that the story of why one band (Südwind) had to basically have his music be completely unable to be released for 4-5 years is a story worth sharing mostly to illuminate how dysfunctional the process of getting some of these records made is and to showcase how futile some of these “split” releases are.

Grom interview on Substack where in which he discusses: the band, the resistance records back catalog, his absence since 2005, these “Magacore” Christian Zoomer BM bands, him (along with just everyone on the Winter Solace roster) being detached from the Black Metal scene & several other things. This will be a fascinating read for fans of this music.

Grom/Swerdthegan/Südwind "Seizure by Asymmetric Warfare" LP, CD & MC

First new Grom material in 21 years, 3 tracks from an unreleased 2nd album made for Elegy Records sometime after 2005 with riffs straight out that time frame giving us all a haunted glimpse of the early days of USBM. The Südwind tracks are 2 pieces from the band’s lost follow up to the self-titled album (from the same sessions as the song from the split with Aesir) in their epic style with the Swerdthegan material being specifically written/recorded for this split in 2024 to bridge the musical gap between the other two bands.

LP (Anti-Vinyl048) Limited to 500 copies. (100x Splatter (WS Exclusive), 100x White, 100x Translucent Red, 100x Translucent Blue & 100x Black)

CD (SolaceCD148) Limited to 200 copies. To accommodate the requests of Südwind as it pertains to the circumstances involving the protracted process of getting these songs released, this will only be pressed together as a split on CD, 1 time.

MC (Anti-Cassette019) Limited to 75 copies. While these are not WS exclusive, I got a very bad price on the manufacturing for these, hence the extremely high retail price. These will also not be listed on eBay due again to the price I have to sell them for.
