Teacher’s Day is a special day celebrated to honor and appreciate teachers for their great contribution to education and society. It is a day to thank them for their hard work, guidance, and dedication in shaping the lives of learners.

Different countries celebrate it on different dates. In Uganda and many other countries, it is celebrated every year on October 5th, which is the World Teachers’ Day declared by UNESCO in 1994.

The theme for each year usually focuses on improving the teaching profession and promoting respect and support for teachers.👨‍🏫👨‍🏫👨‍🏫👨‍🏫
