DID YOU KNOW WHO INSPECTOR Inspector Jil

Inspector Jil (ISOLO WANTING) Real names Wanda Gilbert) born on 14th February 1993 to Pande Israel and Winnie Pande in a family of five in the Eastern City of Mbale in Uganda is a sensational vocal crooner who started his trade as an artist in 2008 while still at High School. He recorded his first hit in studio (a cover of Sina Makosa) in 2012 before signing for Blue Magic Entertainment label as a commercial artist in 2014.

In his first year under Blue Magic Entertainment, Inspector Jil recorded his first two singles “KHAWOWO and MAIMUNA all produced by Shafat Machati at Clear signal in Kampala. The two hits ushered him onto the Mbale Entertainment scene as the latest vocal crooner with a sweet husky voice that he used to hook his listeners to his afro zouk sytle.

In 2015, Inspector Jil topped the Eastern Radio Music charts with another sweet afro beat melody IMBUKA YOSSI produced by Ziok Kay at Zue records. This was followed with another club banger BANANA before reverting to his afro zouk style with NINAWE.

Inspector Jil became a household name in the region breaking ranks to hold his first maiden concert dubbed “The Inspector Jil Experience” in July 2016. This show was to cement his name on the local scene as Mbale’s top artist. Music Critiques like Joseph Batte of Bukedde TV praised him for his versatility and easiness at how he sang his heart out melodically in Lugisu.

“I don’t know Lugisu but you can feel the sweetness and emotions in his music, he is a real gem,” said Batte regarding inspector’s vocal abilities.

Since then, Inspector Jil has not looked back but rather sought to work with some of Uganda’s premium producers and presenters to release more hits. He has worked with the likes of Zion Kay(Ninawe ,Imbuka Yossi, Banana, Khalayi), Andre(Nkwate wa, Inner), Murder Kays(Tit for Tat), Jose Pro(Lwashina, Collabo, Nsindikhe, Kigeugeu,Khamuyile) Wanni pro(Wireless) and Nessim(Makerere).

as he was inthe music industry, he was working with Open Gate 103.2 FM mbale under the name mukhwenda ibununwe ye bamasaba running evening drive with mukhotso 4pm to 7pm. however with the developing talent, he had to quite and concentrate on music career

Currently, Inspector Jil is breaking through the Ugandan Music market with his hit MARIYA featuring Wetsetse Suzan that was produced 2 weeks above . The new song has received a good reception on both Kampala and upcountry local radio stations and clubs.

REQUIRED UP. Love Life Matters

Hello Kenneth, my ex remarried and it’s been over a year but I failed to move on from him. I’ve tried everything. I even blocked him until when I met him a month ago at café near my workplace.

He approached me and we started talking. After that day, I unblocked him and we kept in contact. He has been telling me about the problems in his marriage saying that the wife doesn’t love him and has even refused to give him a child.

He begged me to get back with him and give him a child. He said I should agree to having a child with him as he slowly tries to leave the marriage. I still love this man but I feel like this is not right. He has been putting me on pressure saying he is even ready to get me a house where I can stay.

I don’t know what to do. I told him to first leave the wife but he says we can still go ahead since he is soon leaving the wife anyways.
