In Bugisu’s hills, the tale is told,
Of NAMUNYU, a hyena so selfish & greedy!
But greed was all he ever knew.
He rose to where he was on others’ cheers,
Yet he shared no joy, no love, no tears.
He hoarded praise, refused to give any,
Forgot that greatness learns to live.
He cursed the ones who dared to shine,
Afraid their light would outmatch his line.
But then a drought swept through the land,
And truth appeared not gold, but sand.
While others shared and stood as one,
NAMUNYU stayed, proud and alone.
Until a storm broke down his pride,
And left him with no place to hide.
He crawled back weak, with nothing left.
The same old friends he once had left.
It was the best time for Namunyu with his *bad mind* to learn that,
True stars are those who light the way.
