The Academy is dedicated to the encouragement, recognition and promotion of excellence in Uganda broadcasting and audio broadcasting. We are committed to extending education and understanding of the medium among policy makers, opinion formers, business community, listeners and those who aspire to, or work in Radio and Television. We aim to achieve this through panels, keynote speeches, seminars, networking events and our quartetly newsletter.

Today the media fraternity has lost a father and friend Al Haj Abdul Nsereko formerly of UBC.

He will be greatly missed and we pray that his soul rests in eternal peace
