An intense aerial bombardment has been reported in the Kubri Ngap area of Jur River County, near Wau, in Western Bahr el Ghazal State.
Details remain limited, but eyewitnesses describe heavy explosions and widespread panic among civilians in the affected area. Authorities are yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.

BREAKING NEWS: Passengers travelling to Bor were attacked this morning just as their car was approaching the Mogiri checkpoint, leaving two passengers injured. One sustained a serious injury to his lower lip, and the other was shot in the head, and the bullet lodged in the head just between the skin and the skull. According to the report, the bandits collected bags containing money and went to the eastern forest of Mogiri.

A young South Sudanese lady passing on in Chad.

Yesterday, the 3rd of October, a young lady identified by the name Nyaruach Wiek Tutluok from South Sudan's Fangak county has been reported passing on along her way to Europe in the Republic of Chad.

According to the report, the girl took her journey back in East Africa's Uganda, Kampala, early last month. She was alone when taking her desperate trip, then met with South Sudanese girls and boys in the area called Kurie between Libya and Chad, they proceed together till they reached the place called Killo 30 in Chad, then the young lady started to experience the pain in her body, the South Sudanese who are with her took her to the nearly medical facility for medication then from there her dismise occurred.

Nyaruach Wiek told the people whom he met on her way, "I'm following my boyfriend who's currently in Libya, and he promised me to across the Mediterranean sea with him." The doctor told the South Sudanese that the cause of her death is a diabete.

It is with deep hearts and sadness that we inform the family, relatives, friends and public that Artist. Khor Deng Jang - Khor DJ is no longer with us. He lost his long battle to the kidney failure and succumbed to. Khor DJ passed away on the 27th September, 2025 at the Fortis LT. Rajan Dhall Hospital, New Delhi, India.
Artist. Khor DJ was famous, celebrity and a legendary in music and entertainment. He passed on, after spending 43 days in the hospital fighting for his life, in New Delhi, India. We truly regret his untimely passing, he was just young and promising.

The US state department said it would cancel the visa of Colombian President Gustavo Petro after he publicly called on the country’s soldiers to disobey President Donald Trump.

Petro spoke on Friday while addressing a group of pro-Palestine supporters outside the United Nations headquarters in New York.

Speaking through a megaphone in Spanish, the Colombian president called for the formation of a “world salvation army, whose first task is to liberate Palestine”.

“That is why, from here in New York, I ask all soldiers in the United States Army not to point their rifles at humanity,” he said.

“Disobey Trump’s order! Obey the order of humanity!”

“As happened in the First World War, I want the young people, sons and daughters of workers and farmers, of both Israel and the United States, to point their rifles not toward humanity, but toward the tyrants and toward the fascists.”

The US state department called Petro’s comments “reckless and incendiary” and said his visa would be revoked.
