THE VOICE OF UNHEARD🗣️
BREAKING NEWS!!
=============================================
I came across this post lastnight and put my remark in a comment session, asking for verification of the claimed data as my brother, the post owner said he has done a research on the source of the little boy’s identity.
Well, it’s not bad to be a South Sudanese nor a Ugandan, I’ve seen a saga were Ugandan were trolled because they also called Khaman Maluach their own too and to my own understanding, I didn’t see any problem with that, a country that raised you despite your legality status can surely consider you theirs.
Why when it success, we finna go against other countries but when a South Sudanese is struggling in a foreign country, no one give a f**k?
This little boy’s identity isn’t clear to claim him as ours because of his name, I had a classmate in high school called “Akol John” and his brother was Jok John, both are typical Ugandan from Iteso. How many Achan do Acholi people name? Luo people have got similarities in naming. Calling him a Dinka made us look desperate in seeking validation through other people’s shine. If truly he’s a South Sudanese, then why would his parents allowed him used two names “Emmanuel Akot”?
We all know, British system in Uganda allows three names like Okot John Okello or Emmanuel Akot Garang and more. If any of you go on google and search for him, you’ll only get Emmanuel Akot who’s a Canadian South Sudanese basket baller. This Emmanuel Akot that we are claiming is not verified by google with any full bio but his TikTok and Facebook interviews only pops up with him being called “Emmanuel Acot” so it could be pronunciation of his names that made our people believe he’s from us but hell no, he’s a Ugandan.
We should be proud too that, the boy is an African and a Pan-Africanist so it doesn’t matter where his identity comes from cause we’re one Africans and if he’s truly a South Sudanese then it’s still fine.
Thanks.🙏🏿
