In Entebbe a 34-year-old businesswoman made a difficult decision and took her own life and that of her six-month-old daughter by plunging off a cliff into the waters of Lake Victoria.
Acvording to sources,the woman, identified as Sarah Nakintu, reportedly acted out of emotional devastation following the discovery that her husband was dating another woman and making love daily, according to what she found in her man's smart phone

Eyewitnesses say Nakintu was seen at the edge of the Katabi cliffs in the morning holding her baby tightly in her arms and moments later, she jumped, leaving behind a note expressing her despair over her husband’s betrayal and the emotional pain it had caused her adding that she had dedicated everything to him, only to be deceived by the man she trusted most,”

According to reports a yet to be identified woman is recovering in hospital after narrowly surviving death following a scary and accident that left her with a gunshot wound on her leg.
Information we have seen indicates that the woman was helping her husband carry bags into their home in the rich Muyenga neighbourhood when a loaded pistol inside one of the bags accidentally discharged itself as the couple returned from a weekend trip. According to police,the husband who is a kampala businessman has a license to have a firearm ,so upon arrival, he asked his wife to assist him in carrying three travel bags from their vehicle into the house.

One of the bags, unknown to the wife, contained a loaded Beretta pistol with 15 rounds of ammunition that went off when the bag was placed on the ground with force. The bullet reportedly hit a nearby wall before ricocheting and striking the woman in the right leg. She collapsed in pain as her shocked husband rushed to her aid.
