Spring Beneath Snow

Beneath the fur coat of snow,
the land dreams in vibrant colors.
Green threads coil in the dark,
petals curl in secret,
ready to unfurl.
A pulse hums quietly through the earth,
like a whispered promise:
soon,
all will rise,
vivid, fearless, alive.
Even now,
winter cannot contain
the explosive energy of Spring.
