Set the Scene is officially open! Build one standout Landmark or a complete playable Battlefield for Malifaux, The Other Side, or both. Work on your own or as a team, use whatever materials you like, and show us the worlds you bring to the table. Wyrd products are not required.

Entries are open worldwide through October 14. Community voting runs October 16 to 23, with winners announced October 28.

Gen Con 2026 gave us packed demo tables, a fantastic turnout for Buzzkill and Midsummer Stalker, 21 players in the Tyrant Tournament, all eight Malifaux factions represented, 25 different Masters, and enough indoor rain to make ponchos part of the booth uniform.

Thank you to everyone who played, stopped by, shared a painted crew, or simply said hello. Waldo has accepted responsibility for the weather and absolutely nothing else.
