Teddy is one of the most vocal camels ever. I usually tell everyone that Teddy is the kid in class that always has something to say. He gets comments on his report card that say: “Teddy loves to talk to everyone.”

Most people don’t realize it, but camels have over 30 vocalizations. And although these sounds can be intimidating and sometimes even scary, they are mostly just friendly noises that they use to talk to their friends, whether their friends are other camels, people or other animals. Camels are very sociable creatures.
