For those who follow the channel on YouTube or the Podcast then you are familiar with me talking about my friend Dr. Wu. He was a dear friend who ran sound for our church and would let me borrow his vintage guitars on stage or to make videos. After a decent battle with Leukemia, he passed away last night. What an honor to know him. Prayers and comfort to the family and greatfulness to his legacy he has left here on earth. Enjoy Heaven, I’ll see you when I get there.

Last night I had a great privalage of going to Tone Shop Guitars. It was awesome to hear the stories of from the 6th Generation Executive Chris Martin and guitarist Craig Thatcher. It could not be more of an honor to be in that room. Thanks Toneshop for making dreams come true.

Latest acquisition from Tone Shop Guitars is a Taylor Guitars 314ce Studio. Owen (my 17-year-old corksniffer) has always played my guitars. My gear is high end but I love that he uses it because it teaches him so many good things beyond the music. So there has never been a need to buy more… until now. This guitar SPOKE to him. This is ALL HIS! Now I’ll have to ask him to play it🤣!

but if there is one thing that can turn a frown upside down while we work through the issues it’s a new guitar and some guytime with his God Father Doug!

Thanks to some major generosity and a couple guitars that called to us at Tone Shop Guitars… we have a couple new guitars to add to the family. This time they are not mine though. These belong to my boys and as an added bonus they fit in the trunk!
