Justice For Dakota

Justice For Dakota On August 9 2024 Dakota was hit by a car in Adrian. The driver left him there in the street to die.

He is now at Toledo Children's Hospital in Toledo Ohio fighting for his life. Please share his story so we can catch the person that hurt our sweet boy.

As of this morning 6/3/26 Dakota is still at Mott and will not be discharged until at least 6/9/26 due to a viral infection called adenovirus that was obtained at the facility. This virus for a normal person would be like a cold, but because he has a trach his natural defenses are not able to work and allowed the virus to get to his lungs. We are looking into other facilities that are able to take care of Dakota's many needs until we are able to bring him home for good.

On another note, Felishas tether removal was approved this morning by Judge Olsaver and the prosecution didn't even object to it being removed despite the fact that she was already on the run for a year!
Dakota gets to lay up in the hospital bed once again fighting for his life while she is out here living her best life.

A couple of updates on Dakota and his case-

He is back at the hospital in the ICU with pneumonia, and his oxygen needs have increased significantly, so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

Felisha is going back to court tomorrow, Wednesday, 5/27 at 10:30 am.

This is another petition to the judge to remove her tether because it inhibits her ability to do physical therapy. The judge refused last time and said that if they had a doctor that would speak to this further he may reconsider. She already has violations of her bond pending so hopefully he will not let her go completely free until the trial starts.

Below are the court dates for Dakota's case. They are the last day of pretrial and the first day of the trial, it will continue on through the week with the second day starting at 10:30. We appreciate the communities ongoing support, prayers, and love for Dakota. 💙❤️
