The School Post, a pioneering effort, is a product of commitment to provide an avenue and forum for learning and creative opportunities for children. The School Post has been in circulation since last 20 years and it is very popular not only among the school children but also their parents and teachers. The School Post is associated with around 200 schools in Ahmedabad and Vadodara. Concept : The literary, artistic, imaginative and creative talents of the children that are seldom recognised for lack of opportunities and an appropriate forum find recognition in different sections of this tabloid. For the young citizens of the country who are preparing to face the challenges of the new millennium, this tabloid offers a means to know their country better. This newspaper, a monthly, thus provides ample opportunities for children to express their views and share their experiences freely and unhesitatingly. It thus helps children to develop their faculties and reach their full intellectual and creative potential. Contents : Its column feature cultural, social and political dimensions in a language that can be appreciated by the children and that can instill interest to imbibe the knowledge about the various facets of India and its moral and ethical values. Its columns on environment and nature sensitise the young minds to protect and conserve the natural assets, invironmental goods and services. Children are also encouraged to interview VIPs and celebrities. It features regular columns targeted at young adults and parents. Target Audience & Reach : The School Post is targeted at the school children from class IV to class XII i.e. age group for 6-16 years. The copies are directly circulated in the schools.
