Experience Aiken Train Museum’s homage to a beloved holiday tradition- the Lionel Christmas train layout!

The Aiken Train Museum Christmas train display will feature an operational O gauge train navigating a scale Christmas village featuring gingerbread buildings, snow covered vistas, trees with lights and decorations, and some surprises that are sure to delight!

The layout goes on display beginning December 3 and will be available to enjoy through January 3. Our hours of operation are Wednesday - Saturday | 10AM-3PM

We look forward to sharing Christmas joy through the magic of trains!

This flagship site will be fully reimagined while staying open during renovations and will set the stage for additional locations planned across Tennessee and nationwide.

Designed with family roadtrippers and truck drivers in mind, Dolly’s new travel stops aim to bring comfortable rest areas, curated dining, modern amenities, and true Tennessee charm to travelers who are “living life on the road.” Dolly says her decades of bus travel inspired her desire to create a place that feels like home no matter how far you’ve driven.

The partnership is also expected to create jobs and drive growth in underserved Tennessee counties, with expansion plans already in motion for 2026 and beyond.
