Today one of our editors mentioned he was in the movie 25 Hill, a fictional story about a kid in the Soap Box Derby that was shot in Akron and directed by Corben Bernsen. In 2010 Mosher Media shot video interviews at Derby Downs for a video press kit and some of our interns worked for Corben Bernsen shooting behind-the-scenes video of the production. Today we found a hard-drive labeled 25 Hill in the vault and discovered this behind-the-scenes video where Dan Mosher is trying to explain to then-mayor Don Plusquellic why we needed to interview him. The Mayor asked Dan if he was a reporter and he apparently dodged the question.

We work with a customer service center that provides marketing and operations support to multiple video production companies. It is fascinating to see the same scam messages sent to similar businesses in different markets. This one is probably obvious to most as fraud but it sure makes it easy to identify when the same bogus inquiry comes in to different production companies at the same time. Is anyone else seeing a dramatic increase in messages or calls that are clearly scams, fraud or phishing?

Thank you to our friend Matt Pallotta and for donating this news desk to the Stow High media program. It arrived in one piece, and thanks to the work of the Stow-Munroe Falls high school support staff it made it all the way down to the media center. The students will certainly be surprised when they come in tomorrow and see this generous donation.

Today Mosher Media donated a new 4k Canon camera, a teleprompter system and a broadcast microphone to the media production class at Dan Mosher's alma mater, Stow-Munroe Falls High School. To celebrate thirty years in business Mosher Media decided to forgo a big event or party and instead make a donation of video equipment to Stow High School.

The media students at Stow are clearly passionate about journalism and media production. When interviewed on camera about the media program and the new equipment they were articulate and intelligent. They need and deserve more media production tools and gear than what they have, even after our donation of equipment. The next step in this effort is to support the fundraising efforts of the Stow-Munroe Falls Schools Foundation. This is a great organization and the Mosher Media crew is looking forward to creating promotional videos to help them raise money for the schools.

Thank you to everyone who subscribed to the Mosher Media YouTube channel and followed this page in support of our campaign. The effort was a success. When it comes to supporting journalism and media production in high schools we are just getting started. Don't forget, if you haven't done so already, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube channel. Thank you for your support, and thank you for thirty great years in video production.

Mosher Media Sales Pitch, November, 2005 - Mosher Media

Throwback Thursday: Dan Mosher on-camera in a pre-recorded sales pitch from 2005 produced for an audience of cable advertising account executives. These services and pricing packages ultimately became the blueprint for a spin-off video production company that is still going strong to this day! https://moshermedia.com/mosher-media-sales-pitch-november-2005/

As I approach my 30 year anniversary in video production I have been doing a lot of reminiscing. Lately I have been spending some time going through the archives, mostly because I have hundreds of hard drives that are now decades old and it’s time to back them up or toss them. When I have a moment...

Our Story

It takes more that a collection of cameras and computers to create great video, it takes a talented and creative team. Sure we have a collection of Canon cameras like the C300 Mark II and a Red Epic Weapon with the Helium 8k sensor, but the gear is just a small part of who we are. Get to know this great group and you will witness firsthand teamwork, collaboration, and positive energy in action. The results speak for themselves. Dozens of clients, hundreds if not thousands of videos produced, and a company getting ready to celebrate thirty years in business.
